When Ashley married more than 20 years ago, it was a forever commitment. And throughout the course of her marriage, she was building a family and a future with her partner. Unfortunately, she would discover in 2023 that was not the case for her now ex-husband. Over the last two years, Ashley has endured what would break a lesser person - discovering a side of her partner she didn’t know, having to hire lawyer after lawyer throughout contentious divorce and custody hearings, and having to struggle financially due to abandonment. This isn’t the path she chose, but it’s the one she’s found herself on. All the while, Ashley has fought for what was in the best interest of her two amazing boys, and to maintain ownership of the beautiful home she created - providing a sense of security and normality for her and her family, in a community that they love; Beachwood. During this time, she has even launched her own business, to work towards providing financial stability for her now family of three. As if doing all of that wasn’t enough, she has consistently shown up for our Beachwood Schools Community, as an active member of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO).

It’s true when they say that divorce only really benefits the lawyers. The financial burden of a divorce, especially when contested, also places a significant strain on personal and emotional well-being. Ashley has fought so hard to protect her rights, her future, and the well-being of her family, but is in need of assistance to cover the crippling costs of legal representation - initially well over $100,000, with a remaining $70,000 balance as of now. And while she would never ask for it, I am more than willing to ask for your help on her behalf.
