This fundraiser is for Divine P.U.R.P.O.S.E., a local charity active in changing the lives of underserved children and families in New Orleans. Each year, they put on a toy drive where children are fed, get to visit Santa, pick out a toy of their choice, and even get a haircut if they need it. We have corporate sponsorship for 20 of the bikes, but our goal is 200. The bikes are the most requested gift. Bike culture is big in New Orleans, and a new bike means kids get to spend time with their friends doing a healthy activity.

At one point, we thought we had the whole 200 bike goal sponsored, but through a miscommunication, it really was only 20 bikes. I’m really hoping we can pull together and reach the 200 goal we had set.
