Thanks for supporting the DEI Coalition at IUSM. We're a student organization of medical students who are passionate about raising awareness about issues that affect diverse patients and providers in healthcare. We fulfill our mission and goals through a wide variety of avenues, such as improving upon the recruitment and retention of students and faculty underrepresented in medicine, curating training and educational topics in DEI, working to diversify our curriculum and to ensure inclusive spaces at our 9 campuses, working with community organizations and leaders to leave a sustainable impact, and collaborating with our affinity organizations that empower our medical students who identify with certain intersectionalizing identities, among many other ways.
