Support: Displaced Family of 16 After Fire
Donation protected
On Saturday, August 10th in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a lightning struck a house for 16 people, displacing everyone with nowhere to go. Thankfully, no one was injured from the fire, but the house's attic is completely destroyed, and the rest of the house sustained water damage from the fire hoses.
The big family of 16 are in dire need of help.
They are mostly international students who came to US to study abroad without their parents, and now without a home.
Everything they own has been destroyed. The home insurance appears to have expired at the time of the fire, so nothing can be recovered by insurance.
They are currently in an Airbnb, which costs about $600-$1000 per night as they require a space that is large enough to fit 16 people.
Please help in any way possible to help them rebuild their lives and futures. Money donated here will be used towards shelter, food, and other items that the family may need.
