Dear Friends and Family,
On June 23rd of this year, my mother, Dinah Rotstain, suffered a debilitating stroke that changed her life in a very sad way.
The doctors said that the stroke has significantly affected her life and diminished her life expectancy, especially since she is going to be 100 years old on January 26th.
My mother was always an inspiring and independent woman and lived in a beautiful assisted living facility surrounded by friends and caregivers.
After the stroke, she became paralyzed on her left side and lost her ability to take care of herself. She is no longer able to go back to her home since it is geared toward independent people. She is currently in a rehab clinic, but she will soon need to move to a facility with 24-hour care.
The cost of this kind of nursing home is a significant increase from her previous home.
I am trying to raise funds to provide her with the best care she can have in her current state and to maintain her dignity.
It is very difficult to be in her situation, especially when she is alone. She has accepted her situation gracefully and is always trying to stay positive and find happiness in the small things. She is a very loving and inspiring woman.
I am looking to raise enough funds so we can move her to the best possible facility for the sunset of her life.
Any contribution to this fund will be greatly appreciated. Your generosity and kindness is appreciated more than you can imagine.
