Support Dina Nina: A Birthday Gift of Love and Relief - Our beloved Dina Nina has given so much to Madison—and now, we have a chance to give back.

Dina, a proud transwoman and tireless advocate, recently made history by being elected to the Madison City Council, even after stepping back from her campaign earlier this year due to personal hardships. Her heart for service has never wavered, and her commitment to our community, especially to transkids and their families, is truly unmatched.

Behind the scenes, though, Dina has been facing immense financial strain. She’s had to postpone not only her alder race but also a long-planned, much-needed gender affirming surgery. Despite these challenges, she continues to show up every single day—with compassion, humor, and fierce dedication—for her district and for all of us.

On her birthday, we’re coming together to raise at least $1,000 as a gift of love, support, and a bit of relief. This is more than money—it’s a reminder to Dina that she’s not alone. It’s a way to honor the care she gives to others, and to ease some of the weight she’s been carrying.
