Hi! My name is Dillon Furiato, and I’m a Life Scout with Troop 479 of Fort Pierce, Florida, currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout. For my Eagle Scout service project, I’m building a flag retirement box for the local chapter 113 of the Disabled American Veterans. This box will provide a respectful, permanent place where members of our community can retire their worn and tattered American flags with honor. It’s a small but meaningful way to show our appreciation for the flag and the veterans who have served under it.

To make this project a reality, I’m raising funds to cover the cost of materials such as wood, metal, paint, hardware, an engraved plaque, and a custom wrap to finish the box with a professional and patriotic look. Every donation—no matter the amount—will help me complete this project and leave a lasting, honorable tribute for our community and its veterans.
