Help Support Diane in Her Battle With Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Dear friends and family,

I’m reaching out to share that Diane, also known as Memaw, Deeba, DeeDee, Grandma, Mom, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in May. As we navigate this journey, we are asking for your support to help cover medical and additional expenses. This will ensure she and her husband, Rod, will be more comfortable during this time.

Specifically, the funds raised will be used for various expenses, including:

• Medical treatments and medications

• Moving expenses to ensure they have a comfortable living situation closer to family

• After-life expenses

• Additional needs to help make her and my dad, her primary caregiver, as comfortable as possible during this time

Mom, Diane, is the kind of person who has dropped anything and everything to help people. She has touched so many with her kindness and generosity regardless of whether she personally knew who she was helping or not. She is the kind of person you can laugh until you cry with, stay up late talking all night to, and who would invite you over and make you a gourmet meal from the heart.
