Hi, my name is Destiny. I’m 21, turning 22 on June 1, and I’m currently in an urgent situation where I need help to stay safe. I survived domestic violence and both of my parents have passed away, so I don’t have family or a support system to rely on. Right now I’m stuck out of state with no friends or safe place to go, and I’m trying to avoid becoming homeless while also caring for my sick kitten, which makes everything harder. I’ve reached out for help but haven’t been able to get stable shelter or placement. I’m asking for help with a safe place to stay, food, and transportation so I can reach stability. Anything helps, even sharing this—I just need a chance to get through this.
