Hello, my name is Destini.

I’m reaching out because I’m in a situation I never thought I’d face. My ex, who has a history of abuse, has filed for custody of our 2-year-old daughter. Since the day she was born, I have been her primary caregiver and have provided her with a loving and stable home.

My parents have helped with childcare four days a week since I returned to work when she was just 3 months old. Our daughter has had a consistent, healthy routine and was surrounded by love every day.

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’ve always been someone who figures things out on my own. But now, I realize I can’t do this alone.

I am raising funds to cover legal fees so I can fight for my daughter in court and make sure she can stay in a nurturing environment she deserves. Every dollar helps — whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this with others who may be able to support.
