We need your help to survive!!

As in many countries, the effects of the corona epidemic are serious for us, our families and your DeSilva Windresort in Kalpitiya.

The situation now is even more serious for us. There is no financial help from the government for us. Not for the companies - not for the families. We have to manage this on our own again, so that we can be there for our families and for you in the future. Therefore we need your help!

We are 30 employees and their families.


In Sri Lanka we have no social system like in Europe or other countries. Especially in the tourism regions like Kalpitiya we only have an income if we have guests. We cook for you, help on the beach, deliver mineral water to the resort or sell the fish for the restaurants. Without guests we have no income. Without guests we cannot carry out our local projects. We take care of the street dogs on site. We support schools and help our youth.

Every contribution helps us to survive the next month. For every help we want to thank you!

You will get 10% discount on your next booking with us and of course we credit your contribution in full.

From 20 Euro we also provide you with videos and recipes of our most popular curries. Our chef will also answer your questions about the preparation.
