On September 6, our lives changed forever. Dennis, a loving [father/husband/grandfather/friend], suffered a terrible accident when he fell from his bike. He landed head-first on a rock, fracturing his C5 and C6 vertebrae. Since then, he has lost feeling from the chest down.

Doctors are working tirelessly to help him. He is undergoing an extensive surgery called a “360 spinal fusion,” which involves stabilizing his neck from both the front and back to protect his spinal cord. The outcome is still uncertain, but we remain hopeful.

Anyone who knows Dennis, knows his strength, kindness, and determination. He has always been the one to help others in need, and now we are asking for help for him.

The road ahead will be long — between surgery, ICU care, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical needs, the costs are overwhelming. Your support will go directly toward his medical expenses, rehabilitation, equipment, and the care he needs to give him the best chance at recovery and quality of life.
