Support for Our Father’s Final Journey & Ongoing Care for Our Mother

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

Our hearts are heavy as we share that our beloved Dennis Cooper Sr. has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. As we begin to navigate the reality of losing someone so dear to us, we are also facing the emotional and financial burden of preparing for the road ahead. Dad has been in my care at my residence since February after battling a very hard last attempt at chemotherapy and hospitalization of 22 days, including a feeding tube since then. He is now on hospice while our mother and extended family, care for him around the clock.

Dad has always been the foundation of our family—steadfast, loving, and selfless. He has spent his life taking care of his beloved wife, Gloria, his children, Lil’ Denny & Lil’ Gloria, as well as many others that he made sure felt as family, and now we are doing all we can to take care of him. Unfortunately, the costs of medical care, funeral planning, and securing the future of our mother, Gloria, are more than we can bear alone.

We are reaching out for help to cover:

Funeral and end-of-life arrangements to give our Dennis the peace and dignity he deserves

Immediate medical and comfort care to ease his final days

Support for our mother, who will need financial and emotional assistance as she faces this heartbreaking transition
