Hi, my name's Denisse Takes. I've been creating and delivering Whistle Kits to help communities in Los Angeles stay safe. 4,331 whistles and kits donated as of May 14 (including shipments to other states). I've disabled this fundraiser. The updates below are the last I will post on GoFundMe. You can find me via my links.
Standard Whistle Kits contain (as of April):
- One (1) Zine
- One (1) Know Your Rights Cards
- One (1) 3D printed whistle
- One (1) Disability Accommodations card
- One (1) sticker
The amount of resources within each kit may differ based on available funding and materials.
I've provided Whistle Kits to businesses free of cost. They in turn provide these to their customers free of cost. I've donated kits and supplies to nonprofits and individuals seeking to help out their communities. I also print 3D whistles and ship them for Chicago Whistle Links.

WHISTLES
I stopped purchasing whistles from Amazon and began 3D printing whistles at home in late January. This helps lower the cost of creating kits. The money from this fundraiser will go towards packaging, toner, whistle accessories like key rings or lanyards and paper for informative materials (Zines, Red Cards, flyers).
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
