Support Demba Kunda's Water Needs
Donation protected
Asalamu Alaikum
On behalf of the Demba Kunda people in Niamina West (The Gambia), this village is desperately in need of water. They need your support to construct a borehole to have access to clean water. A borehole is a deep narrow hole drilled into the ground which taps into hidden water sources, and when pumped, is capable of producing up to 30,000 Liters of water a day
The people of this town are really in need of water. Due to water shortages, they are unable to give proper care to their families and livestock. They travel to their neighboring villages every day to fetch water, which can be a challenge. They are pleading with everyone to help them come up with the funds for a borehole. Drilling a borehole for this community will not just quench thirst but will enable cooking, bathing, cleaning, watering crops, and proper care for their livestock. Your support for the borehole will transform lives, empowering the community to flourish while leaving an everlasting legacy of hope. Your support will be greatly appreciated and will also be a continuous stream of Sadaqah Jariyah—ongoing charity that would benefit you in this world and the next.
"The best charity is to give people a drink of water."
~Prophet Muhammad
