Dear Sigma Chi Alumni and Families,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits. My name is Britton Landrum, and I am the current Consul of the Delta Chapter at the University of Georgia. Sam Roper, our chapter advisor, and I are writing to inform you of some chapter updates. This summer, the Executive Committee and the Delta Chapter Housing Corporation are looking to conduct multiple renovations to our chapter house at 112 Foundry St. These renovations will be used to make our house more enjoyable for the brothers and more welcoming for our distinguished alumni and families to visit.

The natural wear and tear of a fraternity house is starting to show after 10+ years at 112 Foundry. We need your help in restoring our beloved chapter house to pristine condition. Some of the renovations would include:

· Resurfacing the courtyard

· Reflooring the Gameroom (hangout room adjacent to bandroom)

· New Furniture in Gameroom to make space more accommodating

· Brand new look to Alumni room (front entrance/lobby)

If you have gently used furniture or electronics you are looking to donate, feel free to contact myself or Sam Roper.

To kick our project off, we would like to extend a special message of gratitude to Brother Jeff Muir for generously funding the purchase of 8 dining room tables, 72 dining room chairs, and assorted furnishings for alumni hall.

To those brothers who enjoyed their collegiate Sigma Chi days on Lumpkin or our other locations, I ask that you reminisce on the “good ole days” and give thought to how you can contribute these same emotions to current brothers. Your contributions during college and as alumni are what have made Delta great, and the current brothers fully intend to keep it that way. If you have questions or thoughts, feel free to reach out to myself or Sam. We hope to create a more enjoyable and inviting atmosphere for brothers, friends, and families alike at Delta.
