Support Delaware's Food Bank: Join Our Cause

Get ready for CSols' annual CANgineering design competition, which benefits the Food Bank of Delaware (FBD)! We're excited to announce that our design theme is a "Tree of Life," and we plan to construct it using much-needed supplies for the food bank. Like many food banks around the country, FBD has lost significant federal grants that funded their programs. It's more important than ever to help make up that funding.
Our goal is to create the most impactful structure we can this year, and to do that, we need your support. There are a couple of ways you can contribute:
- Make a donation: Financial contributions allow us to purchase specific items needed for the structure.
- Ship canned goods to the office (Attention: Becky Stewart): To bring our "Tree of Life" to fruition, we're specifically seeking canned goods that match our color scheme. We can use peanut butter (any variety and in different sizes, no glass jars) for the trunk, canned tuna (any brand), Chef Boyardee products, plastic jars of tomato/spaghetti sauce (no glass!), Goya brand beans or other vegetables, and Green Giant canned vegetables for the other parts of the tree.
Your participation, in any form, will be invaluable in helping us create a winning piece and, more importantly, providing essential support to the Food Bank of Delaware. Please consider contributing; every little bit makes a difference.
The deadline for donations is June 2. This will allow plenty of time to shop and create the Tree of Life.
