The fifth-grade teachers at Del Mar Academy are in desperate need of funds for our annual Outdoor Education field trip to Bailey, Colorado in March 2026. This trip is an opportunity for students from Aurora to learn more about their home state in a meaningful and memorable way. Classes on this trip are designed to provide an outdoor experience that supports specific and ongoing classroom content. It is also a beautiful opportunity for students to ditch the screens and connect with nature, as well as each other.

One of our fifth grade students last year said, "This trip was my favorite thing about fifth grade. I did things I would normally not get to do at home and I was able to try new things and conquer my fears".

Some of the classes offered are: team building, survival skills, rock climbing, nature photography, compass skills, and so much more! Please help us raise money for our trip this year. The fifth grade team and our students would be so grateful!
