PPDEI Fundraiser: Free Books for Community Events 2025

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion MATTER and we want to show that by giving away FREE books at the BG Pride Parade and the Juneteenth in the Burbs Celebration.

Please join Palatine Parents for DEI in our effort to raise $1,500 for books featuring LGBTQ+ authors, illustrators, and themes, and Black writers, characters, and artists for these two important community events.

Since 2022, PPDEI has raised over $3,500 to give away free books at various events, and the reaction has been heartwarming! Watching people see themselves and stories similar to their own reflected in books they can take home FOR FREE is amazing! KINDNESS matters, REPRESENTATION matters, marginalized people in this country and in our community MATTER!
