Support Deevstock Festival

Update: Thank you all so much. This is a community truly built on love and generosity. Every penny over the goal will be reinvested into the festival ahead of our 10 Year Anniversary in 2026!

Hey friends, it's Ben here - director of Deevstock Festival. We've always been as transparent as possible about our finances. The realities of putting on a festival in the current climate mean that even with our biggest ever edition this year, we're facing a shortfall of nearly £3k and need the help of this wonderful community to help cover it.

This was our returning year and we invested in upgrading our stages, brought on more crew, therapists, workshop leaders and performers. The feedback from everyone has been incredible and it felt like a real milestone for the festival. Unfortunately, our ticket sales did not climb to match our ambitions. Though we had more people on site than ever before, we didn't hit our sales target. We are around 15 sales short, and we also had an increase in requests for cheaper day tickets. This combined with rising costs across the board means we lost just over £2000. This is on top of an existing deficit of just over £700 that has hung on since Covid, during the flood year and then the fallow year. We have no investors or sponsors and so this means that I, personally, am £2700 in debt - and I need this wonderful community's help.

Your donations will allow me to pay the last of the invoices for our crew's expenses and suppliers which currently I can't pay. It will also restore my savings which I have used to pay for the festival. It's important to emphasise that none of the crew - including myself - take any salary or payment for labour costs but it's also important than none of us are out of pocket for this to be sustainable.

Next year is our 10th Anniversary as a festival, and against an economic backdrop of festivals disappearing: we don't want to be next. So please give what you can you lovely lot. Thank you for your support - as ever.

The next festival will be 22nd - 25th May 2026, on the Late May Bank Holiday once again. So get it in your diaries now and we'll see you there.
