My name is Marcia Burrell-Odeyemi (Sophie), a nurse living in Maryland. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my four nephews: Deen Rhoden, Mark Williams, Cregg Brown, and Corey Thompson, who lost everything when Hurricane Melissa struck the Black River area.
The hurricane was devastating. Their homes were destroyed, and all personal belongings, including food and clothing, were swept away. One of my nephews narrowly escaped with his life after being struck by dangerous debris.
I’ve sent what I could to help, but the need is far greater than I can meet alone. They urgently need funds to rebuild their homes, purchase furniture, and secure food from neighboring parishes.
Any amount you can give, large or small, will make a meaningful difference. Your generosity will help restore hope and stability to their lives.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and support. It means the world to us.
With gratitude,
Marcia Burrell-Odeyemi (Sophie)
