Hey everyone,

Our dear friend and colleague, Dede Kennedy, recently experienced a house fire that took everything—their family's home, all of their belongings, and so many precious memories.

For more than a decade, Dede has been a beacon of hope and change in the mental health community and the ultimate NABIP volunteer leader. She’s poured her heart and soul into creating a stigma-free and supportive environment, whether it was helping to craft mental health forward legislation or just being available to help a stranger, friend, family, colleague, or client navigate their own mental health journey. She has gone above and beyond for NABIP, CAHIP, our industry, and her community.

Now, it's our turn to be there for her. We're setting up this GoFundMe to help Dede and her family get back on their feet. Again, they lost everything!

Any amount you can give will make a huge difference. The true meaning of what NABIP “FAMILY” stands for: coming together when one of our own is in need, showing solidarity and compassion, and supporting each other through life's toughest challenges. Let’s show Dede and her family that her NABIP Family is right beside her.
