My mom, Debbie, has the opportunity to take part in a missions trip with our church to Ometepe, Nicaragua. They will be partnering with a small local congregation on the island—helping repair and update their worn-down church building, teaching Bible stories to children after school, and encouraging their ministry in practical, heartfelt ways. While much of Ometepe is known for its beauty and tourism, this church serves the everyday families who live outside the tourist areas and are in real need of support. She’s so excited to finally fulfill a lifelong dream of serving others in this way. Any gift—big or small—will help make this dream a reality and allow her to share God’s love in a tangible way with the people of Ometepe.
