Help to Rebuild after the Devastation of Hurricane Melissa.
My name is Dean, from Westmoreland, Jamaica. My family in Jamaica has recently been severely impacted by the passing of Hurricane Melissa. Being in Belmont, Bluefields, Westmoreland, they were basically at ground zero. They lost almost everything after the devastation Hurricane Melissa unleashed.
Melissa left families heartbroken, homes destroyed - no roof, fallen walls, and some structures fully demolished. Homes are without roofs, walls have broken and fallen, and families are now left with no roof over their heads. My family has lost their roof, and the walls that once surrounded and protected them have crumbled in places and fractured in others by Melissa. The structure will have to be replaced. With no power, no clean water, and very limited food or supplies, my family, friends, and neighbors are simply trying to survive.
I am kindly seeking your assistance, any help, to aid their chance to rebuild their lives and homes. 100% of the money raised will go towards:
- Emergency food, water, and supplies
- Home rebuilding (material and labor)
- Replacing lost belongings
- Supporting others in need who are suffering
My family has always given to the community and others and now needs assistance due to this catastrophe. We are hardworking people who now need your help.
Every amount counts, no matter how small, it will make a real difference. If you cannot donate, please share with a friend or family who might be able to help.
I want to thank you all for your prayers, care, and compassion. It means the world to us, as a family and as a people. We are proud Jamaicans. Thank you for being by our side.
With your help, rebuild we will!
