Support Dawn's Journey After ICU Stay

My name is Pamela Erickson. My daughter is a current student in Dawn Meyers' class at Miller Junior High. Dawn is a special education teacher with the Aberdeen School District for the past 4 years, previously a teacher with North Beach School District for 3 years. Her dedication to her work and the students is remarkable. I know she would give anything to be back in the classroom.

Dawn Meyers suffered a serious medical emergency while at school and was taken to the hospital where she was in the ICU for 3 days. The medical team determined she suffered a stroke.

Dawn continues to suffer excruciating headaches and is very tired and weak. Medical tests are still being conducted to find proper treatment options.

Since being released from the hospital, she has relied on transportation assistance to and from all appointments, as well as the emergency room 5 times seeking relief from the pain. continues to be in hospital for test along the way. Meals are being prepared and delivered daily.

Dawn has been unable to return to work and has endured numerous medical tests while searching for answers. Dawn has used sick time from her employer.

All proceeds collected will assist with quickly growing medical bills, medications, and housing costs.
