For over 25 years, David Young has devoted his life to serving others—first as a U.S. Army Medical Sergeant, and later as a Paramedic, EMS Educator, mentor, and leader in EMS. His teaching has shaped the careers of countless EMTs and Paramedics, ensuring that communities across the WNC Region receive skilled and compassionate care in their most critical moments.

Unfortunately, David was recently laid off from his position, leaving him facing unexpected financial hardship. This is someone who has always been there for others. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
