Help David Rebuild and Return to His Work Safely

Our dearest David is needing our love and support. He has lost his beautiful son, Joshua Michael Beler, and is heartbroken. After a difficult year recovering from emergency surgery last year, the unimaginable has happened and is extremely heavy on his heart, making it impossible to focus clearly on his skill and livelihood in construction.
To know David is to know love and sacrifice. A man who gives to others so freely, wanting them to be taken care of and respected and not expecting anything in return to him, but to pass on the generosity to others. His family is everything and asking for himself is not in his nature. We hope that you could help support him in any way possible to allow time to grieve, walk through this, and emerge strong again.
With love, Julia

I have known David for 20 years now. When I met him, all those years ago, he was a well established, self-employed carpenter raising his two sons. David always had work and clients that loved his attention to detail and the dependability he provided.
David raised those two sons and relocated to the Asheville area. He found new clients and was blessed with the birth of a baby girl.
I have worked for David off and on for the last 20 years. We started our relationship as a working one. I got to know David as my boss, now he is one of my dearest friends.
My heart is broken for David in this unbelievably tragic time. Every parent’s worst nightmare is now his reality. The David I have gotten to know has always been an independent person. It is hard for a person with such independence and strength to ask for help.
David took on jobs, not knowing the tragic turn of events were coming his way. He is determined to fulfill these commitments, but he will need to subcontract most of the work, the very work he was depending on to support himself and his family this winter.
David is looking to raise $12,000 to cover the cost of this new labor expense. He is not looking for financial help to pay his bills, just to pay subcontract labor to fulfill these commitments while he grieves the loss of his son.
Please, help David keep his business afloat while he finds space to grieve young, sweet Joshua.
Blessings and gratitude from Jennifer

And if you knew Joshua, please accept David’s condolences for your loss too. There are no words deep enough for this kind of pain — just long
hugs, shared tears, and the hope that love carries us through.
Any amount helps — and if you can’t give financially, your kindness, prayers, and continued support would mean the world to David and his family.
