Those who know David know that boxing is not simply a sport to him. It is his passion, his discipline, and the way he has learned to face the challenges of life. Every training session, every fight, and every sacrifice has been part of a dream he is still building. But today, unexpectedly, David is being detained by U.S. immigration authorities and is going through one of the most difficult moments he and our family have ever faced. From one day to the next, everything changed. His plans, his training, his dreams, and his family’s peace of mind were put on hold. David can no longer continue his life the way he used to, and we are doing everything we can to support him and find the help he needs. It hurts to see him going through this, but I also know his heart. I know that this situation does not define who David is, nor does it determine how his story will end. David has fought many times inside a boxing ring, but this is a completely different kind of fight. And although we cannot step into the ring and fight this battle for him, we can stand by his side, support him, and do everything possible to make sure he has the resources he needs to get through this difficult moment. The funds raised will be used to help cover legal expenses and other needs related to his situation, while also allowing his family to continue supporting him throughout this process. We are not asking anyone to carry our burden. We are simply asking for something much more meaningful: help us make sure he does not have to face this alone.
