The Data Duplication Village (DDV) at Def Con Las Vegas is the key resource for information security data sharing for many years. Each year, our all-volunteer team sets up at the Def Con to provide attendees with free access to hard drives loaded with security conference videos, rainbow tables, research papers, and other valuable resources. While much of this data is available online, downloading 34TB or more can be slow, difficult, or even impossible for some parts of the world.
The DDV may continue to operate for free each year but we still have to pay for ongoing operational needs. We rely entirely on the generosity of our volunteers for their time, effort, and all important funding to keep us running.
As our equipment ages, we need to repair and sometimes replace or add new duplicators. This is where your donation of ANY amount comes in. Past donations have allowed us to add a few smaller duplicators but we need to do more!
Your support helps us keep DDV running smoothly. Every contribution goes directly toward maintaining and even improving our ability to serve the Information Security community. Thank you for helping us keep this knowledge accessible to all.
Please take a few moments to send us a thank you and help us keep the DDV free for everyone.
