Support Darwin's Fight to Stay with His Family
Darwin was picked up by ICE on his way to work Thursday, 1/30/25. We are trying to work fast to raise money to help fund the upcoming financial hardships such as legal fees, basic necessities in custody, the loss of income in the Trask-Jacobo household, and child support for his daughter.
Darwin has lived in the United States since he was a child. He attends church, works hard at his family auto shop, volunteers multiple hours a week at Feed My Starving Children, and plays on his church's men's bowling team. Darwin is married to Abbey, and together they have a beautiful house they worked hard to own with their two rescue dogs. Darwin also has a daughter, Camila, who is still a minor and being directly impacted by this.
While he was leaving for work Thursday morning, barely a block from his house, he was stopped by ICE agents on his commute. He has since already been transferred out of state, so we are trying to act fast in order to keep his family from being torn apart. We have set this up in order to assist Abbey and Darwin with legal fees (including a good immigration lawyer), household expenses with the loss of income, and commissary in order to have what he needs while being detained.
All funds from this will go directly to Abbey to help pay for the legal battle ahead, and household expenses that are now falling solely on her shoulders.
Any and all support is valued and extremely appreciated. If you know Abbey personally and have any questions or concerns regarding Darwin's wellbeing or funds don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you in advance and God Bless.
