Nearly one month ago, I received the devastating news that my son Darren was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. We are all still in shock, trying to process this news while trying to remain strong and encouraged to fight this horrible disease.

Darren and his bride Ivyeria had planned to marry on 3/14, but his hospitalization put the entire wedding in jeopardy. However, the amazing hospital staff came together to help them keep their pre-planned wedding day before the birth of their new baby girl next month.

With this major life change of cancer diagnosis and subsequent hospitalization, Darren has been unable to work and will require treatment every other day for the foreseeable future. He is at the beginning of his journey to become cancer-free and therefore is in need of financial assistance for general bills, medical expenses, as well as upcoming expenses for their new baby girl.
