Support Darcy Wynn's Battle with Pancreatic Cancer

I wanted to keep everyone updated on how my mom Darcy Wynn battle is going with pancreatic cancer since we found out the end of November , it has been definitely been rough and hard at times . She has so far made it through two chemo treatments which are three days long each time because she has to get treated at the hospital and then go home with it . The first time was completely awful for her she was throwing up and nauseous and could barely get out of bed . Then had a three week break due to Christmas and New Years . I took her to the last one on January 8th we stayed at the hospital from 7 til almost 2 pm was very hard to see my mom have to get a steroid bag , two different bags for nausea to help from last time and then chemo bag and then when it got to that point she could barely talk due to it making her mouth and jawn completely numb which is a side effect for some people . But she never once gave up or stopped the treatment that’s how determined she is to be here and fight for me and my lil sister . We did find out that hopefully after two more treatments . She will have her scan the beginning of February to hopefully see the cancer has shrunk  and hopefully move forward to surgery to get the whipple procedure . Which that occurs she will probably be at the hosptial for atleast week because of have major it is to remove it plus remove the head of her pancreas and some of her small intestine and reattach it . We both are a little scared and nervous how she will do because back in May as some of you know she had the gastric sleeve to loose weight . Which she did think she will feel so much better and have more energy but never did because of this occurring without knowing it was happening at the time luckily we did catch it in time . She has lost just about 80 pounds and keeps loosing because of chemo but she is still at-least managing to eat and drink . So please keep your fingers crossed and prayers going for her that her scan shows it has shrunk enough for them to move forward with surgery . She is still only getting a portion of her check which isn’t much and her medical leave ends this month and I want to help her as much as i physically can so she can stay focused on getting better and being cancer free .
