Hi friends and family,

My name is Dara, and many of you know me as your Khmer sister from the Bay Area. I’m starting this GoFundMe to raise donations that will be sent to support Cambodian refugees affected by the recent conflict along the Cambodian-Thai border. Many lives have been lost, and countless others displaced in such a short time.

All funds raised will be collected through the San Francisco temple and sent directly to my uncle, who is coordinating relief efforts back in Cambodia. I want to honor my mother, our resilient Bay Area Cambodian community, and all those who carry the pain of our past and present struggles.

No donation is too small. Every dollar will go toward helping our people in need — and in return, I will offer your names to the monks at the SF temple to receive blessings on your behalf.
