Support Danny's Fight Against Huntington's Disease
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
We are reaching out to share the situation of our good friend, Danny Miller, who was diagnosed with Huntington's disease in October. Huntington's is a progressive neurological disorder that combines aspects of Alzheimers, Parkinson’s and ALS all rolled into one. It severely affects movement, mood, and thinking skills. The battle gets progressively worse over time, impacting his ability to work, and is ultimately terminal.
Danny has always been a fighter and is living independently now in Seattle supporting his 9 year old son. We are working with his family to prepare him for the difficult journey ahead, with a focus on quality of life and mitigating the symptoms of the disease. We have been funding Danny's needs while pursuing government assistance but bureaucracy is cumbersome and expectations are low.
Our goal is to ease the financial burden for Danny and ensure that he has as much support as possible to face this disease with dignity and strength. While our financial goal is ambitious it reflects the daunting challenges ahead.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in Danny's life and is much appreciated. Even if you're unable to donate, sharing this page with others would be very helpful.
With gratitude,
