I quickly looked around to see if anyone else had noticed. A few people nearby were frantically glancing at each other, and one was pointing to his waistband and signaling to others. They began backing away quickly.

That’s when I realized the officers couldn’t have seen what I saw, because the man’s back was to them when I caught that glimpse.

That’s when I began to approach.

Then, the video begins. I watched the man hurl a full, opened tallboy can directly at the officers. As he turned to run, I saw him reach for his waistband.
