Roxxy and Danni have always had a close relationship as mother and daughter, but even more so as best friends. Her mini me, her twin—her mother would tell you Danni is the strongest person she knows, never ceasing to amaze her.

But now, Danni faces her toughest challenge yet as she awaits a life-saving double lung transplant. In a matter of days, Danni's health has spiraled into a critical state. Thanks to the tireless efforts of a dedicated medical team, she has undergone an exhaustive evaluation process unprecedented in its speed. Danni has finally been approved and added to the transplant list, offering a glimmer of hope in these trying times. Recently, she was put on ECMO, a machine that provides vital support to her struggling heart and lungs. Despite the gravity of her condition, Danni's strength shone through as she managed to share laughs, write in caps, text her friends, joke, and even trick the nurse into removing one of her cuffs by holding up her pinky until he understood what she was saying minutes after waking.

The road ahead is daunting. Danni’s family is facing mounting medical bills, the costs of maintaining her car and insurance, and the need for 24/7 care during her extended recovery.
