Dani is a single mom of three and a dear friend who has shown incredible strength and resilience. She is currently living in the US with her daughter, working full time with very few days off, and navigating the complex process of seeking asylum. Despite the challenges, Dani has finally moved into an apartment of her own, creating a safe space for her and her daughter to begin building a new life.

The journey hasn’t been easy. Each step in the asylum process comes with significant costs, and Dani needs permits for herself and her daughter. On top of that, starting over means needing furniture, groceries, and a bit of savings to help them get on their feet and find some much-needed rest. Dani’s daughter is a funny, loving, and vibrant middle schooler who is bravely adjusting to life in a new country.

Dani is passionate about punk and soul music, loves futbol (she’s a proud Westham fan), enjoys cooking, has a unique sense of style, and is a tattoo apprentice. She is a loving friend and mother who always puts others first. I started this fundraiser because I believe Dani and her daughter deserve the support of our community to provide them with basic safety and stability. Any help you can offer will make a real difference in their lives as they work toward a brighter, more secure future.
