Hello, my name is Daniel Morales. Thank you so much for visiting my GoFundMe page and considering supporting my Eagle Scout Service Project.
An Eagle Scout project is a community-based project that a scout must plan, organize, and lead. It is the final and most significant step required to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout—an honor earned by only about 2% of scouts.
For my project, I will be building two benches and a shot put rack for the La Mirada High School Track and Field Team, as well as installing two flower beds in front of the school’s science building.
Currently, the throwers on the track team do not have a place to sit during competitions, so the benches will provide a comfortable space for athletes while they wait between throws. The shot put rack will allow competitors to safely store and organize their shot puts during meets.
In addition, the flower beds will help beautify the campus and create an outdoor gardening space for Mrs. Upson and her students. She shared that having a gardening area would greatly enhance the school environment and give students in her club a meaningful project to maintain and care for.
Scouting has been a major part of my life since 1st grade. Over the past 11 years, it has given me opportunities to serve my community, develop leadership skills, and learn valuable life lessons. Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout has been a goal of mine for many years, and I’m incredibly excited to finally be at the stage where I can make it a reality.
La Mirada High School is where I have spent the past four years learning, growing, and creating many great memories—including breaking the school record in discus. Being able to give back to the track and field program and the school that helped shape who I am means a lot to me.
Any donation, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated and will help bring this project to life.
Thank you so much for your support!
