My name is Daniel Wolf, and I am a Life Scout in Troop 2008 working toward my Eagle rank. Scouting has been part of my life since before I could even join. I followed my older brother to meetings when I was three, and on my sixth birthday, I finally got my own Tiger uniform. I don't think I have ever been as proud or as excited as I was that day.
Being in Pack 2008 and Troop 2008 has shaped who I am. The troop has always felt like a second family to me. I have grown up learning how to lead, how to help others, how to solve problems, and how to give back. I am a quiet and creative person, and Scouting has helped me learn how to turn those strengths into something useful for the community.
For my Eagle Project, I am building an information kiosk for Arkansas Bend Park on Lake Travis. When people visit, I want them to have a place where they can see trail maps, information about wildlife, and safety tips all in one spot. Working on this project has pushed me in the best ways. I have followed the design, planned the steps, and then worked on measuring, organizing volunteers, talking with park staff, and solving real problems one step at a time.
