My name is Alexander Mireles, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my brother Rudy and his daughter, Danielle Mireles - a devoted mother, a loving daughter, and a lifelong Las Vegas native who is now fighting for her life.

A few weeks ago, Danielle went to the emergency room due to worsening medical issues and anxiety that had taken a serious toll on her body. While undergoing testing, her condition suddenly and tragically worsened - she went into cardiac arrest, and her heart stopped. Medical staff worked urgently to bring her back, but Danielle went without oxygen for 14 minutes.

Although they were able to restart her heart, the lack of oxygen caused brain damage. Danielle is now in a coma and on a ventilator, undergoing life support for an indefinite amount of time. Doctors have told us the outlook is grim but we are doing our best to remain hopeful in that regard.

Danielle is just 36 years old. She’s spent her life here in Las Vegas, raising three beautiful children who are now 15, 11, and 9 years old. She worked hard to provide for them, most recently at Apple, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family, friends, and making memories with her kids. Her sudden, tragic condition has left her children without their mother’s presence, stability, or support.

As a family, this happened so abruptly that we truly are lost in navigating this correctly. We pray daily for a miracle. But as we process this life-altering event, we’re also doing our best to take care of what matters most: Danielle’s children.
