Danielle and Mo lost their beautiful baby girl, River Satin Bina, after just 2.5 months on this Earth. River was born on October 22 with TGA, a congenital heart defect. She had open-heart surgery just 6 days later and spent several days in the hospital recovering, before enjoying a short stint at home adjusting to a new life with Mom and Dad.
Unexpectedly, on January 4, River was taken to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Later that day, she was airlifted to Sick Kids and our world shattered that evening, when she passed at Sick Kids hospital. River fought so hard to stay here with us - our little warrior.
In her short life, River touched our lives so very deeply with her big eyes, her wild hair and her crooked smile. She was loved by so many in such a short amount of time.
There is no way to comprehend the amount of pain that Danielle and Mo, and the entire family are dealing with right now. Friends and family are needed now more than ever, to come together to support Danielle and Mo and help them grow through an ending into a new beginning.
This page has been opened up to offer encouragement, in every form possible, so there is no need for Danielle and Mo to have to worry about anything other than their well-being and healing. Every little bit is greatly appreciated.
We love you so much, River. Shine bright, our little warrior angel.
