My mom, Dani Funk, recently had a second heart attack. After being taken to the hospital via ambulance, her heart attack continued for almost 12 hours. After a complication with a procedure in the Cath Lab, my mom was admitted to the ICU. She’s scheduled for another procedure tomorrow.

My mom is a rockstar. She’s been a nurse for over 34 years, working everywhere from the ICU to the ER, and now she’s remote doing Case Management. She’s the mother of 3 kids, two girls and one boy (me). She LOVES to read, watch Hallmark movies, and I’m pretty sure she loves the dog more than me. I get most of my personality from her. Even through really tough times, she’s always been the glue that holds us together.

I just need some help in giving back to my mom. I wanna show her how valued she truly is, even if it’s just buying groceries or helping pay the light bill.
