Hi, my name is Da’mya Washington. I’m 19 years old, and right now I’m experiencing homelessness. I’m currently staying in a shelter while trying to get back on my feet.

This is not where I imagined I would be at this stage in my life, but I’m doing everything I can to move forward and build stability for myself. Living in a shelter is temporary, and I’m working toward finding safe, permanent housing so I can focus on my future and becoming independent.

I’m raising funds to help cover:

* First month’s rent

* Security deposit

* Basic necessities (clothes, hygiene items, food)

* Transportation and job-related expenses
