Hi, my name is Damian, and I’m fundraising for someone I love, admire, and owe everything to — my mom.

After years of hardship, health challenges, and the recent loss of her own mother, she’s in need of a fresh start. My goal is to help her secure a safe, stable place to live — a home where she can begin to heal and rebuild her life.

Growing up, it was just the two of us. My mom worked 3–4 jobs while putting herself through college so that I could have a better future. She’s one of the strongest women I know — selfless, determined, and always willing to help others, even when she had very little herself.

About six years ago, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and a muscle deficiency disorder, which forced her to stop working. The loss of income led to her losing her home three years ago. Since then, she’s been the full-time caregiver for her mother — my grandmother — who sadly passed away this May.

After the funeral, my mom made the brave decision to move to Florida to start over and find work. But starting from scratch, especially while managing chronic illness, is incredibly difficult.

That’s why I’m asking for help — to give her the stability she’s gone without for far too long. Every dollar will go toward helping her get into an apartment and cover basic necessities as she finds her footing.

She has always been there for me — and for so many others. This time, I want to be there for her. And I’d be incredibly grateful for any support you can give, whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing this page.
