Hi everyone,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but my family really needs a helping hand right now. My dad has been going through a very difficult time — more than most people should ever have to face — and it’s taken a serious toll on his health, stability, and spirit. He’s always been the type of man to help others first, even when he had little himself. Seeing him struggle like this has been incredibly painful for all of us. He has been keeping all of his struggles to himself without asking for help, but now he has reached a breaking point.

We are thankful for the generosity we have recieved from many of our friends and family. We are needing to reach outside the realm of our immediate circle since this situation is now more complex than we initially understood.

I’m setting up this fundraiser because I want to give him some relief — whether that’s helping cover basic needs, medical expenses, or just giving him a little peace of mind so he can focus on getting back on his feet. He has been suffering from chronic pain and that has severely limited his ability to do the work he has loved to do for the past 3 decades. He needs to be seen by a specialist abroad because the UK has not offered any medical relief.
