VERSÃO EM PORTUGUÊS NO FIM DA BIO

EN- Hundreds of thousands of families have been forcibly displaced from their homes in my home town of Canoas, in Brazil after extreme rain and flooding events over the last number of days.

The homes where I grew up with my family are now completely submerged under water leaving them with absolutely nothing. My Grandparents, Mother, Brother, Godson, Uncle and cousins are fortunately safe at the moment but are rationing food and water and are without electricity.

While the impact of these material loses cannot be restored, nor the situation that they are in now with no water or electricity be changed, I am raising funds from Portugal to help them get back on their feet once the flood subsides.

I know things are tough for a lot of people at the moment so there is absolutely no pressure to donate, but if you are willing and able, anything helps If you aren’t able to support financially, sharing the GoFundMe page on your stories or with friends would be greatly appreciated!

PT- Centenas de milhares de famílias foram deslocadas à força de suas casas na minha cidade natal de Canoas, no Brasil, após eventos extremos de chuva e inundação nos últimos dias.

As casas onde cresci com minha família agora estão completamente submersas sob a água, deixando-as sem absolutamente nada. Meus avós, mãe, irmão, afilhado, tio e primos estão felizmente seguros no momento, mas estão racionando comida e água e estão sem eletricidade.

Embora o impacto dessas perdas materiais não possa ser restaurado, nem a situação em que se encontram agora, sem água ou eletricidade, possa ser alterada, estou arrecadando dinheiro de Portugal para ajudá-los a se reerguerem assim que a inundação diminuir.
