Support Dalayja's Global Leadership Dream

Hello everyone!

My name is Dalayja Armstrong, and I’m from Oklahoma City!

In the summer of 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Seminar, where I was one of 150 sophomores nominated to serve as ambassadors. This experience changed my life. Through powerful workshops and hands-on activities, I was able to grow in my personal, group, and service leadership skills. I came away more confident, motivated, and focused on leading with purpose in everything I do.

This year, I was honored to be selected as an alumni volunteer at the 2025 HOBY Leadership Seminar (May 28–June 1). Working alongside the amazing staff and supporting this year’s ambassadors gave me a chance to apply all the leadership skills I learned last year—and to continue growing as a leader myself.

Now, I’ve been given an even more exciting opportunity:

I’ve been accepted to attend the HOBY World Leadership Congress from July 19–26, 2025, held at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. This weeklong global conference brings together young leaders from all over the world to collaborate, serve, and inspire real change.

This is truly a dream opportunity—but I need your help to make it happen.

The total cost to attend is $2,850, which includes registration, housing, meals, and airfare. To secure my spot, I need to raise $200 for the deposit within 72 hours, and the remaining balance by July 6, 2025.
