Hello, my name is Victoria Dos Santos Morais.

I am a daughter of immigrant parents and an honor student at Massasoit Community College. As a first-generation student, and with everything currently going on in this administration, I have recently found myself searching for ways to better protect my parents and their status.

My mom has sacrificed so much of herself in order to give my family and me a better life. She has been the stepping stone and foundation of my family for as long as I can remember.

She has been my number one supporter and motivator in times when I could not find myself to go on.

I am organizing this GoFundMe in order to help my mom, Daisy Morais, with legal fees, to try and get her back into the United States.

As of April 14, 2025, my mom traveled back to her home country of Brazil in order to take care of her dying father. She did so because she is the only child out of the six to have permanent residency status. My grandfather died on June 20, 2025.

As of today, June 25, 2025, my mom was not allowed re-entry into the United States due to her green card having expired while she was away taking care of my grandfather. They chose not to give her parole in order to allow her time to file for renewal on her green card while she re-enters.

I know exactly where I stand in regards to this administration, and in regards to all the atrocities going on around us currently with immigrants and their families being targets.

I will never stop speaking up for those who cannot, and most definitely will not allow my mom to go unnoticed or unacknowledged.
