Support Dagmar and Family in the B.C. Burn Unit
Donation protected
Dear friends,
I am reaching out to share an urgent situation that has touched our family deeply. Last week, my three-year-old niece Dagmar suffered a severe burn injury. She is currently undergoing specialized treatment in Vancouver, where she is receiving exceptional care at both the 'Home Away Burn House' and the Burn Unit at BC Children’s Hospital.
Dagmar's resilience is truly remarkable, and despite the pain and challenges she faces, her feisty personality remains intact. However, her recovery will be a long and arduous journey. She has sustained significant burns on her backside and the back of her legs, requiring ongoing "burn baths" and a range of healing support.
During this time, Dagmar's parents, Kashka and Mike (my brother), are dedicated to being by her side every step of the way. They have put their careers on hold to ensure that Dagmar receives the care and attention she needs. However, this has placed a significant financial burden on their shoulders.
This is where your support can make a real difference. If you know Dagmar, Kashka, or Mike personally, or if you are inspired by their situation, I kindly request your assistance during this challenging time. Your contribution will go directly towards supplementing their daily needs and helping to alleviate some of the financial stress they are experiencing.
Every donation, no matter how small, will be immensely appreciated and will make a tangible impact on Dagmar's recovery. Together, we can help lighten their load and allow them to focus entirely on Dagmar's healing process.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, compassion, and support. Please keep Dagmar, Kashka, and Mike in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult chapter in their lives.
With sincere gratitude.
