Help Support My Dad After His Triple Bypass Surgery

If you know my dad, you know he is the first one to show up when someone needs help. He is a hard worker, a man of deep faith, and the kind of person who can’t help but encourage everyone around him. He’s the guy who cracks goofy jokes to lighten the mood, who buys meals for those struggling, and who quietly lends a hand without ever expecting anything in return. He has spent his entire life giving—pouring himself out for family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers.

What many don’t know is that my dad has been fighting heart disease for most of his adult life. He had his first heart attack at just 38, and a few weeks ago, after experiencing new chest pain, doctors discovered three major blockages. He was rushed into an unexpected triple bypass open-heart surgery.

By the grace of God, he made it through—but the recovery is long. At 63, he still works full-time, and this surgery means weeks of healing without income. We are hoping to raise enough so he can recover peacefully, without the fear of falling behind on his basic bills.

Truck payment: $565/month

Car insurance: $200/month

Internet, cable & phone: $230/month

Half of his mortgage: $600/month

Estimated medical bills: up to $10,000–$20,000

Our goal: $20,000

This amount will help cover his living expenses and the hospital bills from surgery. Every dollar will go toward protecting the necessities he relies on while he heals.
